OAK BARNS

Our oak barns have been used for classic car storage, home offices, livestock, feed or garden machinery stores and party venues. One client reasoned that with four young daughters, the use of his barn as a wedding reception venue four times over would represent terrific value for money!

An oak framed barn’s ability to breathe makes it ideal for car storage and is certainly a lovely way to set off any treasured collection. On a more modest scale a small timber barn is a beautiful way to keep mowers, horse tack or the paraphernalia required for keeping hobby livestock and will only improve over time as the oak mellows and settles into its surroundings

All of our oak frames are handmade in green oak using traditional construction methods and mortise and tenon joints. Our workshop and offices are in rural West Berkshire, just south of Newbury.

While we don’t have a showroom, you’re more than welcome to visit us by appointment. Some of our customers like to see their project during the framing stage in the workshop. If we’re preparing a quote for you, we will typically come to see you on site.
