Large oak kitchen extension

The creation of this large kitchen dining space was the culmination of a programme of works to convert this rural 1930’s bungalow into a two-storey home fit for the demands of a busy family while retaining the vernacular feel of the ancient hamlet in which it sits. Some ingenious framing was required to provide an open floor area within an L shaped structure. The resulting space is enjoyed by parents, children and dogs alike.
